Why will current owners lose money at a greater rate than depreciation? What a question. If Mercedes closes their dealerships and service your wife will get less when she wants to sell her used car. I surely wouldn't want to buy such a car. Sure, Independents car still service her car but the spare parts will cost 25% more. I know you calculate tariffs differently so you probably calculate this stuff differently as well. I just hope your wife doesn't need spare parts for her car in the future.
