I also wrote that no-tariffs would be a good starting point.
But the devil would be in the details.

Small countries would have niche industries that needed protection.
The US needs to be concerned about a full-on war supply chain.
China used to be a giant peasant nation with no military threat. The rise of China and the threat that it poses is a concern in 2025.
The US mfg has been gutted and that is a concern.

Honestly, I don't know what I believe regarding exactly where anything should end up or what will happen.
My only certainty is that the US tariffs should be looked at. There's a few of us that feel that way.
