Interesting video of process and place...saw it on Google maps and it looks secure enough. No problem with them being sent there as I said before. ...we'll let the federal court system decide if they used the right authority.

The criminal groups were designated as terrorists...hopefully judically..no reason to suspect otherwise but had to express the caveat....and they definitely committed crimes persistently ....so no sympathy here on their removal or where they ended up. As FD said...perhaps deportation would mean they could not be sent there and only to Venezuala...dunno

Real estate dude sounded credible....thanks for that Marty

To our on going discussion

Insiders are saying Trump is dealing with Canada the way he is because he disliked Trudeau. No one wins when emotion enters the equation....but here we are.
Emotion is driving rhetoric and decisions...not hard facts and rational thinking.

We will have an election called soon BTW. I expect Mark Carney will be our next PM. He is a clear headed, highly experienced former central bank governor of Canada and the UK.
While in the UK, he led Britain through its Brexit. I think he will be able to speak reason. He has publicly stated he understands what Trump is trying to achieve.

As for having no one tell you were to live, that is decidedly not what is happening. Canadians are reacting because they dislike Trump and what he had done to Canada and our relationship. Our current exchange rate may also be playing a part as is recent "Snowbird" admission rule changes (Canadians coming to Florida for more than 30 days now have to be fingerprinted and there are other barriers)

What I did not hear addressed ...perhaps rightly so but it deserves mention....is that supply is always high simply because aging retirees die or move away...so that demand was\is easily filled with no upward price pressure
