So, this is how it works. The government puts huge tariffs on specific products, for example computer chips. After the imposed tariffs, those companies are not competitive anymore. Then the government offers them a deal. The companies get a tariff exemption if the government gets partial ownership. So, the government is now spending our taxpayer money to buy companies. It started with Intel and I’m sure NVIDIA is next. In the long run the government will own the companies. That’s what one calls socialism. That’s what they have in Russia. Trump is making Bernie Sanders happy. Did Trump promise this during the election? Why aren’t grocery prices going down?
