I haven't really done much songwriting in the last few years, but just recently started having another go at it.
I found these lyrics back from 2006. wow, are they out of date.
Trim some bucks here Skim some bucks there And more tax breaks for millionaires <<
When poor need food And sick need care They whine and cry "no cash to spare".
I need to update it to better reflect the times and the Big Buttugly Bill.
it should now be "Billionaires." <<
Many more billionairs, many more homeless.
The question to ask, is not 'Is america great?" or "Was America great", the question to ask is "For Whom?"
