John

Your last post was very Canada centric.

I take from it that whether tariffs are inequitable or equitable, your main concern is not that, but, Canadian industries doing well.
I'm not Canadian. I'm an American who lives in Texas. I'm interested in the US industries doing well.

If the tariffs are heavier on your side of the border than ours, I and many others would like to see them reciprocated by our leaders.
If they already are the same, leave them alone.

If you Canadians believe that matching tariffs will destroy your egg industry, I hope that US negotiators would say...

""Okay, we will carve that out of the arrangement and protect your eggs. If we do that, what will you do for us?
And merely saying "thank you" will not get it done.""

Seems fair, does it not?

In other news...the cease-fire is something to be glad about. Biden never got to even talking about one. Harris was not going to be any different.
But the Rooskies and the Ukrainians, now have a million dead bodies to hate each other for. Peace will be difficult.
