Rob, There is no chaos. Trump is an American president with a plausible agenda regarding tariffs. Per my understanding, it has piled up 4 tril since begun. His adversaries want to find something wrong with everything that he does, particularly if it is going to deprive them of some benefit or advantage. He makes an assumption, looks for a legal basis to underpin it and then applies it, knowing that it will get tested. Nothing new about this in American history. The DC appeals court voted 7-4 to declare him invalid. The 7 were all democrat appointees. The 4 dessenters were all republican appointees. No surprise there. MSNBC et al fanned it up into a terrible set-back for Trump. It was not. I suspect it is headed for SCOTUS. If SCOTUS strikes it down, Trump will get together with the senate leaders and come up with another approach to the same thing. The 3 liberals are a lock against Trump. Two conservatives are a lock for TRUMP Gorsuch leans Trump. Roberts, Kavanaugh and Barrett go their own way sometimes. No chaos. Politics. Europeans may hate it, but people always squeal when being denied access to the trough. I've no idea how it comes out. Neither do you. Marty
