Marty no problem having a look at fair trade. John, That is nice to hear. Americans like Canadians and want to have a good relation. As far as looking at a Swedish Fighter jet versus an F35, tell them to think long and hard on that one. As far a your negotiating team, Most Canadians live a short distance to the border. Canada apparently ships 77% of its exports across that short distance to the US markets. That is one sweet set-up to have. And you Canadians also get to lecture the US on who we should elect for president. Such a deal that you have. Replacing that set-up with Germany, France, Malaysia and whoever, the associated shipping costs across oceans, etc., is going to be bad arithmetic. FWIW I suggest that your negotiators come to the table with a practical attitude and a desire for fairness. Marty
