Take a lesson from the Stoics.
If the creator of all came to you before your born, and even in the guf, and said..."ok, I found a body for you down on an obscure planet in an obscure galaxie. Those are humans down there. Once embodied, you will have anatomy with feelings.

And you said, "that's great. And I get to live forever?"

The creator of all responds..."No, that's not in the deal. You get to live somewhere between 0 and 100 earth years" 85 give or take.

And you said...But I want to live forever!"

The creator responds...Not being offered. The choices are 85 or nothing.

You respond..."I'll take the 85."

The creator responds..."you should say thank you."

Moral of the story:
I have no idea what this universe is. I woke up in it one day and my parents said "your name is Marty" and I've been wondering ever since. And I have no idea if there is life after death or not. But I am glad and grateful for whatever life I have gotten or will get.
