It is you who needs to read the bible Tony. And I feel certain that most truly observant Christians would agree with that.
Here are a few things to think about. You won't, but you should. You make a poor ambassador for Christianity. Says the liberal agnostic... James 1:26: "Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues deceive themselves, and their religion is worthless." The Bible is not a "religion"... Ephesians 4:29: "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen." All who deny God are liars... Liars are perfect examples of who not to be. Proverbs 16:28: "A perverse person stirs up conflict, and a gossip separates close friends." Gossip can break down relationships and create animosity. Truth is self evident and my integrity is not subject to agnostic sophistry... John 8:7: "He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her." How long have you been a prostitute? Matthew (7:12): "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." Unless you're a soulless agnostic... Way to go, MartyDom... You turned another thread into a meaningless theological argument. Wouldn't you be happier in a cult?
