At the recent G7 meeting, Trump said about the Iranians:
"We're dealing with people that I think are very rational people, and they were nice to deal with. They were strong people, smart people. ... They're not radicalized and they're looking to help their country."
Not radicalized?
Just this week, Iranian singer Parastoo Ahmadi and eight members of her production team were reportedly sentenced to 74 lashes, along with travel and artistic bans, after she performed a concert on YouTube without wearing the mandatory hijab.
A woman sings a song without a cloth covering her hair and the response is flogging.
Is that what "helping their country" looks like? Just a thought.
