The tariffs may be very unfair. If they are, it's worth taking a look.
What Trump may have said about some treaty years ago is not binding.
Between nations, nothing is actually binding.
All international treaties are agreements of convenience. And yeah, I know about "International Law."

If the treaties are unfair, I want them to take a look at the tariffs that are in place anyway.
If all is good, that'll be the end of it.
