WRT border... we seem to line up with the numbers...but are all of them really criminals? Were all of them "illegal" according to law?
But we can leave that entirely. Seems judges are now weighing in on particular cases and sorting things out...even turning planes around to actually provide justice.
They may go in the end, but it will be law and not capriciousness and randomness. And over reach as any innocent and inadvertently deported were called "collateral damage" by Holmes who did not seem to care there were laws in place to do what he was directed to do. So that is a good sign.

My problem with your argument is that in the same way as dealing with the "illegals" with directives, he has also done the same in a number of areas that trample on US civil rights ....plus he is creating creating economic instability ....plus he and now his cronies support or excuse his view Canada is some artifical creation and should be a state. You say the (metaphorical) sky is not falling...but just because it is not where you are....just like eggs...all of this matters elsewhere and to others.

We see TDS as Trump being the one afflicted.
We see Trump as having to be reigned in by advsisors....who we unfortunately see as toadies and yes men
