Exactly John. You nailed it! He could get cheap eggs from Canada but that is bad for the trade balance. He therefore wants to buy the expensive eggs from Europe and fly them half around the world. I'm not sure that will bring down the price of eggs and what will that do to the trade balance with Europe? We'll see.

In the German news I just read that Trump is now doing what Marty doesn't want. America is attacking Jemen. Military strikes with American troops in a far-away land. Here we go again...

I don't eat eggs. I quit appx 40 years ago.

The air strikes are unfortunate, but from what I have seen in the media, they were jets from a carrier. No troops.
