John

I'm trying to FOCUS our conversation on something that will stay on a manageable and informative track.

Trump's claims that the election was rigged is not at issue here. Nothwithstanding that, he won the election and he is president. Not of Canada.
Your fall back to J6 is not at issue here. Be all that as it may, and Nothwithstanding that, he won the election and he is president.

On the one hand, you chastise me for using the term TDS and on the other hand you try to smear J6 and everything else that you hate about Trump across any conversation that I try to have with you about tariffs. A reasonable conclusion is that TDS may be driving that.

Hate it or not, Trump is POTUS and from that position, he is calling today "Liberation Day."

So the issue at hand is accuracy , truthfulness, reality...what is liberation day all about?

It appears to be about trade relations ALLEGED to be inequitable.
It appears to be about the imposition of RECIPROCAL(?) TARIFFS because of trade relations that are inequitable.

The starting point, in my mind, is trying to ascertain the truthfulness or not of the allegation.
Are there truly any non-reciprocated tariffs on American goods by Canada as Trump is claiming?
Is Trump imposing any tariffs that are unilateral and unprovoked?

John, are there?
If so, what are they?

Ps
I consider the cartels, SA & CA gangs and the spread of their influence into the US as a threat to my personal safety. I have had property mildly vandalized by an MS13 enclave, that a task force later raided and chased out of the area.
For me, that is 10 on a scale of 10.
These tariffs are a 2 or a 3.
