It takes money just to be a doctor.
When you think basic college today costs about 25-50 k per semester.
So by the time you are done it's 200 to 400 k just to graduate basic college.
student loans, maybe you get a percentage of help, but it has to be paid back.
Now if you have ambitions if being a doctor, you're going to need double that, if not triple that ormore.
Same time, you will have no money while doing it, and where do you live?
If the answer is parents, well you better believe they have serious money to flip that bill.
Gone are the days where a student can get a part time job at Starbucks and support themselves
Bull [naughty word removed] not with rent at 2000-3000 a month
So then you make a salary as an intern, then go to work for another Dr till you get out of debt, which can literally be a decade.
Many work for hospitals , and never go to private practice cause of the cost. cost of a place to work, and how many patients you have to see just to break even , discourages them
Not to mention the stress of going through all that.
You either have rich parents, or you basically don't become a Dr.
Maybe if foreign you can study free over there, then come here to pass certs.
But we wonder why Drs become so money hungry..they literally are.

"If someone is truly a jerk, or truly is not deserving of any positive reply from you, polite indifference is the best response you can give. Do not insult. Do not slam. Do not follow the urge to be nasty. Simply be politely indifferent." –Brian Austin Whitney
