What a question. If Mercedes closes their dealerships and service your wife will get less when she wants to sell her used car. I surely wouldn't want to buy such a car. Sure, Independents car still service her car but the spare parts will cost 25% more. I know you calculate tariffs differently so you probably calculate this stuff differently as well. I just hope your wife doesn't need spare parts for her car in the future.

Rob,
What you Rob want to do may not reflect everyone else.
Another possibility is fewer cars in the country, then greater demand for fewer cars. Covid?
I don't know what the future holds, but I would not be surprised if parts dont get carved out.
I personally suspect that in a month or two, people will work out some arrangements.

The problem that you have is that your European Union is not unified in a lot of ways. Trump may start cutting countries loose from the herd.
If he does, you will need to turn off all of your tvs, radios and phones. wink

Another thing I wonder about...
Tata makes these cars. Indian.
They make them in UK, India, Brazil...
How are the tariffs gonna work on these?
Per India? UK? Brazil?
