Hi Folks, I always planned to have this post. The election is nearly here. All anyone can do is cast their vote. The rest really doesn't matter. Both sides, if they lose, will react negatively. (Not a hard prediction). I personally have no doubt that shenanigans take place and some winners have their wins stolen. It has happened in all of time. But I am here to say that it just isn't what is important. 99% of people want to have a happy life for themselves and their families. Most of those want the same for their neighbors and their friends. Some are wishing awful things on entire swaths of our population which is disgusting and deranged. We are all peons in this farce. We have the most minimal impact on what happens. If something is stolen, we didn't do it, we can't stop it and we can't fix it. It is beyond the reach of honest, law abiding people. And that is a good thing. Because should any significant number of people decide to take matters into their own hands, even if they are 100% correct in their grievance, the most destructive responsive events in world history could commence and there will be ZERO winners. (Not even the Elites). Citizen warfare is an outcome we all must be diligent to avoid. Whether it is small riots in big cities, or something much, much worse, we have to avoid it with all our abilities. Here is something to ponder. This is NOT finger-pointing at anyone. It is all factual, and I got it off mainstream web searches. These numbers are rounded but close enough: Total US Debt: 1776-2000 : 5.5 Trillion Dollars Bush Jr. 8 years +4.5 Trillion Obama 8 years +8 Trillion Dollars Trump 4 years +8 Trillion Dollars Biden (Harris) 4 years +10-12 Trillion Dollars Sources: US Debt Clock at https://www.usdebtclock.org/ and a general Google search for the starting and ending Debt of each President. It matters not who controls laws, as long as we control the money" (paraphrased)-Some Dead Dirtbag Banker It doesn't matter who wins. Both parties (and their leaders) have equally signed off on ALL that debt and all the banker's wars (which ALL of them fought by Western Societies turn out to be). And they will keep doing it no matter who wins. Additionally, as Ben duly noted, no matter who is elected, we are not getting the 25-50% (depending on the sector) inflation over the past 4 years back by ANYONE. They essentially lowered the value of the 35-36 Trillion in debt (growing faster than belief) by hyper inflating the dollar so we all lost 25-50% of our savings, bank account and buying power. Prices may not keep going up (if they choose) but the damage has already been done, and NEITHER side can nor want to go back. The Stock Market has not grown. It simply reflects inflation as a rule of thumb. It may have doubled etc. but those companies are not actually richer in general. Money is a zero sum game. It isn't lost or gained, it simply changes hands. These Elites are actually fighting for whose hands that money will be in. Hint: It won't be any of ours. So get hysterical either way about the winner, we are all losers regardless. The most charitable view is that one side or the other might screw us less often, but we are still getting screwed. The debt interest is already over a trillion a year and the people who profit actually control what interest they want us to pay. They do this like those "Debt Relief" companies operate. (more on that later). They use inflation to rob us now and enslave us later, far worse than the absurd tax levels anyone faced by anyone without corporate power accountants. Elites will never pay their fair share no matter the tax rates. Those who want to raise them know that. Those taxes affect one target: Small business owners, especially small family business owners. They do THAT to benefit their multinational corporate overlords. THAT is Fascism, and BOTH parties fully endorse it and vote for it. The State and the multinational corporations are all controlled by the same elites. They all sit on each others boards. This theatrical production every 4 years will not change that. It might change which party will be the lead grifters, but grift they will. ALL OF THEM. *The Debt Relief Scam vs Our US Tax Scam: These companies really do relieve those heavily in debt. But they are not helping YOU, they are profiting the max possible. The way it works is you give them ALL your debt, asset and income info. Their experts determine the absolute MAXIMUM money they can extract from you, without you declaring bankruptcy. That is where they draw the line, removing you as a bankruptcy threat to these debt collectors. The Fed is the exact same thing. We are all financial slaves. In ancient Egypt, the Pharaoh took %20 of the slaves productivity. Today, with the tax situation we have, everything is taxed and re-taxed at every stage of activity from digging up a resource, to processing it, to crafting it into something usable to the transportation of it back an forth, to all the laborers involved, to the buying and selling of each material to storing it, to putting to market wholesale to retail, to the sales taxes, inventory taxes, to the re-delivery to your door, to your taxed money (by every agency and jurisdiction) and stuff I didn't even cover so by time you buy widget, 60-99% of the cost has gone to taxes. And the money you used to buy it has been taxed and re-taxed at every level as well. We ARE all slaves to this system. It is only because of tech advances in nearly all fields that our lives don't all involve manual labor for the Government/Elites. But most of our productivity is consumed as passive (meaning they do not have to WORK for it) by the owner class. About this post: My plan is to remove this post about a week after the election, give or take (unless circumstances require a change). If anyone makes a personal attack on each other, that is on the ATTACKER, whether it was "provoked" or not. Rational Adults can refrain from it if they choose. If you lash out here for a grievance elsewhere, that is on YOU. You can all PM each other all you like. Keep it off this post. If I find or hear about political bickering elsewhere, I will react accordingly. I am not reading pages of old posts to find the original bad person. Rather than posting an attack, send ME a PM and let me know where attacks are happening. If you can't control yourself for a week, don't read this post in the first place. If you make a statement, offer your points, with verifiable sources if needed. This has been a PSA. You're welcome.
