Years ago I read that Gates was working for IBM when he developed DOS?
I read that by rights that it should have been IBMs, but that Gates made off with it.
Dont know what is true and what is not. Dont have time to check it. Would not change my mind about Gates buying farms any way.

Side issue & distraction.

Anecdotal
back in the late 80's and 90's, I used to get my computers fixed at a small shop in Houston. They were MS "partners." Hated MS, because ACCORDING TO THEM, MS was predatory, monopolisitc and ruthlessly quick to sue "partners."
Then came along the net and Google and MS lost their monopolistic grip on everything.
Got Windows 10 for free. Just upgraded to 11 for free also.

Can't testify to any of it first hand, other than to say that is what the owner of the shop said to me at a time that I thought MS was golden.

If it is true, even more to worry about regards food supply.
If not, still don't want Lord Gates buying up farms to be recreated in his allegedly benevolent vision.

Encourage him to buy in Canada.
