Being an old horse bettor I know of what you speak. I spent year learning everything I could a bout betting on the horses, read thousands of programs and dailies, knew every horse in a race. All just to give me a slight advantage over others. It paid off because I regularly came out on top. If one is going to gamble, learn what you need to know to give yourself a leg up.
