Not everybody is swaping an asset for a desired outcome, they are investing, if you play stocks you are doing the same thing
If you are gambling, then you are betting an asset against chance. Stocks are gambling, just like roulette. Particularly when money is pouring into the stock market with no true basis in assets or productivity...just money chasing and driving money.
