Never mind I got my answer from Christianty.com, I dont even recall our church mentioning satan much at all SO Lucifer was an angel hangin around the same time and place God was, God needed some helpers, so he created them, but then lucifer turned bad, and because he had free will was allowed to keep whatever power he had...still not clear why he has power. But then God kicked him out of heaven, so he hangs around earth instead.
