I consider gambling a risk based on indicators, and history, and liklihoods, and that which offers the most value and upside.

Not somebody looking for a thrill. Not somebody with terrible control, in fact, in order to stay afloat you need incredible control, i still struggle with that.

Gambling is only a dirty word by people who dont understand it.

Is investing a better term?


"Risk" is fine.
There is a risk of personal injury in driving to the grocery store.
But the act of driving to the grocery store is not an act of gambling or wagering except in an overly broad sense.
