Faith is abstract. If something was right in front of you, could be seen or heard, then there's no faith involved.

I dint need faith to believe in a traffic jam, it's there, I'm stuck in it, it exists

God requires faith, you can't see, you can't hear,. You can read The Bible, and learn what was written, and then make a choice.

That's faith because it's not proven, it's something you decide to believe or not.

If we were there to witness Jesus performing miracles or dying on the cross, it be a no brainer.

But then that's not faith either. Faith is belief in something that is not proven
