"There has never been a time when more people were more offended over more things than right now. Offense is everywhere in our day."

Look up the number of dead at just the American battles of Antietam and Gettysburg.
Then look up the number of dead in all American Wars other than the Civil War.

In the United States, compared to the immediate run-up to the Civil War and the War itself, the events of today are sunshine and smiles. People have the luxury of indulging whiny emotions and broadcasting them to the world via social media. A crowd of morons vandalized the Capitol and they call that a coup and insurrection. Fort Sumpter was a coup and insurrection.

If you want to thank God for something Tony...thank God for letting your life span post WW2 America, rather than finding yourself in Northern Alabama in 1859. Or 1917-1945. WW1, The Great Depression, WW2.

Sunshine and smiles.
Stop wanting the world to end in a ball of fire. You wouldnt actually enjoy it. I promise. e.g. Hiroshima
