There are many small c christians and many capital C Christians, which camp each will fall in is how seriously they believe. Many that call themselves Christian never read the bible, never or seldom go to church, let alone pay a church. They see church as a place to marry, baptize or bury people. Many have said "I've read the bible" and maybe they did ONCE. The bible needs to be read daily and studied to get what we should be as followers of Jesus. Christianity should be a lifestyle, not once on a Sunday for an hour. Nobody is perfect and those watching Christians expecting them to be perfect will be disappointed or happy. Happy because they can say, "see he is no better than I am". Christians are sinners saved by grace, we will make mistakes, but we believe that Jesus paid for our sins and mistakes. we confess our weakness. We can never earn our way into Heaven, that is a gift from Jesus, but we will be judged for rewards on what we do on this earth for Jesus. When we accept Jesus as our Saviour, we become disciples of Christ and we are told to go into the world and preach the Gospel and make others disciples of Christ. The bible tells us how we should live to be pleasing to God, but it also warns us of what is yet to come, when God will separate the goats from the sheep, the believers from the unbelievers, it gives us signs to watch for as that day approaches, but those that don't read the bible will not see that day until it is upon them, then it is too late. Those signs are happening now but we can not know the exact day or hour when He will take His church out, just be ready.

I don't say this to be holier than though, I am not, I'm just saved by grace doing what is expected of me. I'm a sower of seed, the Holy Spirit will water and nurture those that believe and God Jesus will harvest the crop, wheat will be put in barns and weeds will be burned.
