The Bible was first pulled together about 313AD.
Over the centuries, through various translations, it has changed in some ways.

There were 3 separate Papacies at one point in the 1300s.
There was the Great Schism, when Byzantium fell away from Rome and ultimately ended up as the Russian Orthodox after Constantinople fell.
There was the Church of England and Henry 8 who just wanted a divorce.
And then, there were uncountable arguments. At a young age I myself got to watch a church break in two over the interpretation of "the word."
There are offshoots like LDS who add there own testaments.

As for Pence...
He is a decent man and a Christian. As disgusting as DJT was at times, Pence never spoke against him and he kept his eye on his prize...abortion.
I personally dont care who gets an abortion. If someone feels strongly enough to do it, I aint gonna try and stop them. I do agree that ROE was not a federal issue and am glad they struck it down.

Trump achieved the SCOTUS that delivered Dobbs. For Pence, that was a big score that led to the biggest score...DOBBS. That was the big score for the entire Christian faction. For Trump to dump on Pence like he did was barbaric.
