It's hard for me to imagine you put you faith in Hal Lindsay, I mean that right there undermines YOU. Id never believe any figure who rakes in those kind of figures to tell me about a GOD, who is NOT interested in money, and believes that it's easier for a camel to get through the eye of a needle, than it is for a rich man to get into the kingdom of Heaven.

What does Lindsay and his 42 million dollar bank account think of that?

Sell everything you own Hal, and follow Jesus. Or I wont even ask that, sell 50% of your worth, and follow Jesus.

The Bible is not a historical document, it intersects with history Yes, people, places, things, but The Red Sea being parted by Moses, is not a historical fact, even if there may have been a sea that did some sort of parting at some time. That Moses did it is not a fact.

Jesus rising from the dead is not a historical fact, but the bible says it.

Jesus turning water into wine, is not a historical fact, but the bible says it.

What you have with The Bible is a spiritual belief with some worldly events thrown into the picture.

It will always be required that the reader take a massive leap of faith and try to believe what it says.
