I get you feel compelled, you want me to be excited and believe like you do. I dont have a reason why there is this gap, i think it may have to do with what religion you are, how you grew up with it.

But you weaken your ability to sway me with unsupported claims.... The Bible is not a historical document. If I quoted the bible instead of historical facts in school, id flunk every test i took.

You believe strongly, no problem with that, there is just nothing concrete to based that belief on. It's all gut, intuition,

I have an easier time believing stuff that is rooted in reality and science.

Wasnt always that way, I was raised Catholic, and we believed in all sorts of stuff, I used to ride my bicycle up to the church/school, on the feast of the blessing of the animals. Carry my dog in one hand, and ride him to get blessed. It felt great, I really felt God was going to take care of my dog after that. It's about WANT, we want to believe in a God, because the alternative sucks.

Unless you are born into the world with a great set of tools to be awesome....

Born with MONEY, shew, makes life easier. Born with Good Looks. Shew, makes life easier. Born with a great personality and likability, you're going to enjoy life.

Born poor, ugly, no talent, no brains, and MANY ARE lol. There are some people who have ZERO working for them, it's a plus to know that a God might exist, and you one day will have it all too.

But you dont see many Millionaires (Hal Lindsay included) taking the passages about wealth in the bible, too seriously, its only for those who dont have it.

Have you ever heard a rich man saying money dont buy happiness? In fact, it DOES buy happiness.

Have you every seen a good looking person saying looks dont matter? LOOKS DO MATTER, and science can prove it

I believe religions were born out of this. Now God, that might be an entirely different thing altogether. God may not be something to exalt, but something that we are already a part of being here.

I dont know really, but dont quote a millionaire who made his money off such people i spoke of.
