I'm not confused. As stated before...God is or is not whatever God is or is not? Whatever I may want to believe doesn't change that.
So rather than reach for some image and story of God or manufacture my own, I just wait to find out if I even get to find out.
Until then...I let God be God.

That is being resolute in the realization that resolution is not available. There are uncountable things about the observable universe that we don't know. I'm not going to start guessing what they are. I will enthusiastically look at things that scientists reveal and be glad that I am alive to do so.
Paraphrasing Hawkings..."I cant tell you what God looks like but I have seen some things regarding how God thinks."
