Putin is not bat-$hit crazy. He is calculated. His cultural filters are vastly different from ours. It is a mistake to label him crazy. He is cold, calculating, dangerous and resourceful. (KGB) In Helsinki he had Trump babbling like a rattled child.

Right now, he is getting his butt kicked because he is vastly outnumbered. He failed to anticipate the number of Ukrainians willing to take up arms against Russia. (re: US 2nd amend) He is badly outnumbered as a result and being overwhelmed and pushed back. Not out but back. He is loading up with conscripts at this moment and preparing for a long winter slog. The bridge gave him a pretext for randomly terror bombing the population.

Several wild cards in the deck. Western supplies and involvement being the biggest.

Putin is not suicidal crazy. He does not want to be vaporized or watch as Moscow is. Very unlikely to unleash nukes.
Could be deposed, but I doubt it.
If "NATO" enters heavily and backs him against a wall...all bets are off.

MY GUESS:
A deal is worked out. Zelensky gives up some eastern provinces and Russia claims that their goals were met.

Question for you...Would you be pleased if this conflict escalated into "Armageddon?"
