Well, Cobber...

Congratulations..

It appears the bloodsuckers (ASCAP etc.) in Australia are more efficient than those here in the US.

I have gotten some chex for airplay over theyears...not on this song because it's never been recorded for release..

but Roll Me A Long One has garnered a few bucks....

Nothing from Australia tho'....hmmmmmmm !

Still waiting for Brian to conjure up a way to credit James Taylor for somebody doing a night of his songs without someone making a list somewhere.

I doubt that I'll be getting an answer to that one.

The guy Brian mentioned as his "friend", Alan O'Day is a real talented guy.
Has a coup[le of big records...Undercover Angel was close to a number one in the 70's as I recall...he does Film work and TV work...he does very well.

I'm sure he's very happy to know that when some poor schmuck in a joint somewhere shows up to Play "Louie Louie", he can count on making more money off the sweat of that poor guys back.

Guess that's OK with Brian too......

Obviously it's OK with some of you...

Not me !

Bob
