Brian. The fees are based on the stated statistics of each venue down here and all venues using entertainment must comply. The venue I used in the example is one I know to have a capacity of 253 Public health and safety figure. How many gigs they average, if they have a juke box, how many TV sets they have (they have to apply for a seperate on the day l9icience if they want to screen a vidio of some event from a legal scource.) I also believe venues understate the stats to lessen their yearly dues. Just as I know singer/songwriters over state the originals they do so as to get a few extra bucks from the playlist returns. It does work as best as well as any system can be expected to under the current conditions, taking the greedy nature of writer, artists and venue owners into account. "Defeatist Pessimists and Rose Colored Glasses Optimists are lonely companions, victims even. Both ideologies imply predestined outcomes, and therefore breed inactivity in its victims. Inaction is the only sure way to lose at anything in life. All positive action guarantees at least a fighting chance." -Brian Austin Whitney
