Steve Martin had John McEuen accompanying on the mandolin. John taught Steve the banjo and is most famous for his work with The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. I wasn't shocked when I saw KISS, but it was a highlight for me too. By that point in the show, I began noticing that the outfits and songs performed suggested who would appear next. Adam's weird wings made me immediately think of Kiss (I guess singing "Beth" helped too), but the costumes played a big part. Speaking of costumes, I loved Ryan's comment about what Bikini Girl had been up to (as she showed off her new implants). I thought it was great to see a more uncommon instrument (the mountain dulcimer) being used. Cyndi was really playing it too, but I think they faded her playing out towards the end, as Paul Jackson Jr. was stronger on guitar. Overall, an extremely entertaining show - AND I'm glad Linda got to see the new Adam-ized Queen.
