If the voting is based on last night's show alone, I actually think Adam should be the one going home.
I picked Adam and Danny to be 1 and 2 way back on the first "competition" program of the sentence. Adam is definitely the best performer so far, but his voice lacks the rasp or edge to be the "Rock God" everyone wants him to be. He comes across as an actor portraying a rock star.
Danny has a nice voice and has the rasp, but his voice is much more limited. He doesn't seem to be comfortable on the stage and comes across as a music teacher trying to be a star.
The surprise for me has been Kris. I didn't pay much attention to him at first, but he has been consistent throughout the competition. He has a clear, pleasant voice and seems comfortable on stage. He doesn't seem to try to be anything other than what he is, a talented pop singer.
At this point, I honestly think any one of the three could win. I think the panel wants Adam, and Simon was smart enough to realize that the votes could end up going for either of the other two, hence his plea for people to vote for Adam.
