Now...what the heck does being able to sing one of these golden oldie songs of the 50's have to do with selling a gazillion CDs and downloads in today's market? It will be an entertaining night, but totally irrelevant to today's market methinks - unless someone (geez, guess who that might be?) comes up with a super-hip "unplugged alt-rock-latin-world-dance" version of one of these.  That's exactly what I have been thinking the whole time...What does any of this have to do with todays market...although,I can see where a few of the contestants have taken songs and rearranged them ,making them sound more contemporary....But I really dont understand what they are trying do here...
