If you noticed, there was no 4 way discussion going on last night. There was a tiny amount of discussion between Paula and Kara and then there was some discussion between Randy and Simon separately of that while the 2 girls were watching the performance. So whatever it really is, it's not 4 of them deciding anything. AND.. it was 100% clear that they knew who was being voted off BEFORE the show because Randy said (after Jasmine was announced) that they'd had a long discussion about it and decided not to save her. Well, since they announced it and then she performed, it was clear they weren't talking to each other at all and then right when she was done he says they all had a long discussion. So these decisions are made PRIOR to the show even happening and the judges know exactly who is being voted off in advance. You could even tell by watching their faces during the announcements. In previous years there was sometimes surprise. None this week.

On another topic, didn't Kanye West once again suck horribly? That guy is the least talented music star I've ever seen. It's a huge case of "the emperor has no clothes." I don't know what he has over the heads of the industry, but they all kiss his ass and for nothing. They give this guy more respect than Paul McCartney. He's is devoid of talent. He sometimes has a good feel for theatrics, but musically he's a fraud. The Grammy's pretty much hand the show over to him whenever he pleases to do his self aggrandizement.

Kelly Clarkson was okay. The song will likely do well on pop stations. But it wasn't one of my favorite performances of hers. But compared to Kanye, she was a goddess.
