I didn't know Gary Jules was a JPF member...I have his CDs , and they're pretty good ... as far as AI, here's Lambert's performance http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1XOpgcEOhC4My wife and daughter are devoted to this show...me I'm too busy these days...but they tape it and play me what they think is great...and this one they absolutely loved! I agree it's a "breakthrough" that should put this guy as the odds on favourite to win...if he's not already there. The way he made this "his own" by coming into the chorus in a unique way, and by his ending, and the way the angst came to the forefront...(you have to know how Jules does it to understand what I mean) was IMO what made it for me.
