Brooke White should have never got as far as she did last year. Once again, she killed the show with her boring delivery.

I actually find the judges to be more entertaining than the contestants for the most part. The tendency to overuse the term pitchy and the phrase about poor song choice show 3 of the 4 judges to be seriously lacking in being able to gave much depth in their feedback. The one signal contestants can watch for as they are performing that helps is if Paula is out of her seat. But her head seemed to be in the clouds again on Wed.

Simon is the one judge who holds any credibility. I loved when he started nodding his head sided to side as the new judge started droning on & on tonite. She's not bringing anything to the show and should be voted off the island - judges panel.

As for contestants themselves? Allison brought it this week, but her second performance Thurs. showed that hearing a given perf. of any of these pieces more than once is too much. Same w/ Adam. Seriously, with these shortened versions of the songs, they are getting to the climax of the song too soon and drawing it out too long, thus killing the impact.

That and a couple quarters might get you a cup of coffee at a truck stop.
