My takes:

1. Lil - 8, decent but didn't blow me away. She's safe.
2. Scott - 8, he wasn't the worst, but he's no idol. He's safe for now.
3. Danny - 10 - excellent; he could make the finals
4. Michael - 9 - not bad, won't make the finals, but is probably safe this week.
5. Jasmine - 7 - pitchy, shrilly, She will go home either this week or next
6. Kris - 10 - very nice; he's safe. He has some weird facial expressions that he needs to work on.
7. Allison - 9 - I really like her; I hope America does too. She should be safe this week.
8. Anoop - 7 - bad performance, bad song for him. I will be surprised if he's not gone tonight.
9. Jorge - 7 - bad performance; bad diction - he was sharp almost the whole song. He'll he gone tonight.
10 - Megan - 8 - not an impressive vocal, but she seems to be popular just like Brooke White was last year, so she's safe for now.
11. Adam - 10 - another knockout performance. A real contender here. My only concern is that he may peak too soon.
12. Matt - 9 - solid performance; he's safe
13. Alexis - 9 - she was good, just not as good as she thought. Being in the coveted "final" slot, she's no doubt safe.

Highs: Adam and Danny
Lows: Anoop and Jorge; possibly Jasmine

Simon will be quoted for some time: "It's fine being artistic, just not on this show."
