Adam Lambert doing Sam Cook (a change is gonna come)- that pretty much sealed the deal tonight I thought. The song, was chosen in 2007 by the Library of Congress to join the National Recording Registry and voted the #12 Greatest Song of All Time by Rolling Stone magazine in 2005
Lambert's last song, written by kara and some accomplices, wasn't very good, but he had two good performances and Kris had only one good one. Unfortunately Kris sung last and couldn't hit the high notes which was too much of a contrast to the easy way Adam hit his notes.
It's not over until the contracts are all signed. I would bet that Kris will have the better first album and Adam will have the biggest concert tour.
