"...not one has managed to address my concerns about TAXI's advertising."

I just attempted to specifically address your concerns and you failed to provide the information that you say you based your opinion on. In a court of law, your complaint would be thrown out. You are stating that they mislead you in their advertising, yet you have "too much of a life" to back up your claims?

"American Idol" is a nation wide talent search for pop singers between 18-24. TAXI is not American Idol. People who join aren't just pop singers. They are musicians or writers or performers or in many cases all of the above from a wide variety of backgrounds. A vocalist like those on "A.I." with no other musical skills would have no business joining TAXI, and I know for a fact that they would discourage it because a singer would have no original material to submit.
And for many, the critiques are worth the cost of joining. As I mentioned, I think the Road Rally alone is worth the membership fee.

And for Handrick, I suggest you give them a call and speak with Clint or Alex or Doug or Will, let them know where you are in your career and they'll tell you whether or not you could benefit from their services. You can then look through their site, base an opinion on that, and from all the feedback you've received on this bulletin board and from musicians who you've come to know and respect. On numerous occasions, I've heard them effectively convince people that TAXI is not for them.
