I think it is interesting to note that all the folks who have posted here who were not satisfied with TAXI got their money back.

Not entirely true. I didn't get the money back I had to submit with my demo. $5 a song. I must of submitted over a hundred dollars worth of burritos! For what? a couple of sentences written in chicken scratch as though someone was in a hurry to move on to the next critique? I could't even read clearly some of the reviews.

Also, David, how can you compare a lawyer's advice with an artistic opinion? Law is written, artistic genius is a matter of opinion, no matter how long someone has been in the business. Remember your quote, Brian, about the greatest novel written has already been rejected? Well, that novelist paid postage and packaging and the price of the manuscript to be rejected, but did not pay $300 plus five dollars per chapter. I struggle day to day on deciding what to spend on next concerning my music. I just want any Indie to understand that reads this that you shouldn't pay for just a few opinions. Pay to get your music out in front of hundreds instead. No matter what the Industry pros say about your music, it's the consumers and music lovers that will tell you for sure. Songwriters! Get your music to local bands and have them play your songs. If they don't want to, ask them why! Have them critique it! Then you'll know! DON'T PAY FOR AN OPINION!

*note: when you go to a lawyer for an opinion on your case, you don't pay for the initial visit. Some lawyers don't even make money until you do.
