I belonged to Taxi for about five years (that's $1500 worth, not including the $5 processing fee for dozens of songs I sent in). Did I ever get a cut? no!. I did get one referral to a listing and signed a song, which never got placed by that company, but I placed by myself later on, and got a cut with it. Guess it was a good song. But, truthfully, I think there are better ways and places to shop your material for that kind of money. For example: Tonos, though some folks don't like them either. songcatalog.com seems to come up with requests for material as well, both of these cost, but not as much as Taxi. I belonged to pitchsheet.com, but they went belly up. I think they had legitimate leads. Also check paradeofstars.com the Nashville tip sheet. Good luck. /Glen ------------------ "Music is the speech of angels" T. Carlyle 1795-1881 Glen King http://www.angelspeech.com
