Timid? How do you figure? Is this really that tough to follow? I'll run it down one more time. I criticised TAXI for touting their critiques in their advertising when, in fact, as much as 30% of their listings DO NO offer critiques. You won't find that fact in their ad copy. That's my complaint, pure and simple. Mr Laskow's invitation to visit his office and meet his staff DOES NOT IN ANY WAY address this concern. Is that really so hard to follow? I'll break it down in terms anyone can understand. I could visit his office and meet his staff. Either they're good people of they're not. In either case it would not alter the facts I've stated. In fact, it wouldn't alter any of the things anyone on this thread has stated about TAXI. To me, Mr Laskow's offer is just more spin. It's what politicians do in those stupid televised 'debates'. Someone asks them about a specific issue and they answer a completely unrelated question. It's called "framing the debate".
So you spent your $300 and you're happy about it. Good for you. I'm happy for you. What I am NOT is made timid by Mr Laskow's empty offer. Jeez, use some logic. How about if Mr Laskow just offers to:
a) Offer critiques on ALL sumissions or
b) Place a prominent disclaimer on his website stating that NOT ALL SUBMISSIONS WILL BE CRITIQUED

How about that? Maybe he's the one who's timid, huh?
