Mornin' all,

I have been a member of TAXI for about a year now. I submitted heavily at first, slowed down, then stopped.

Taxi delivered everything they promised. Michael Laskow runs an organization that is completely up front. The recording magazine is a nice "add on benefit".

However, one solid hit after all those years and submissions is a sad track record. (pun unintentional). No publisher could survive on that, and I suppose that is my point. Taxi is neither a publisher nor a song plugger. They do not claim to be. Yet those are the services many people seem to expect of them.

Taxi's case is made over and over. You see the repeated disclaimer, "How much plainer can we make this"...

My comment is simple: If a lyric were misunderstood by so many people, would it get a passing grade from Taxi...or would they send it back telling the songwriter to make his point more clearly.
