As a songwriter, I have never collaborated with anyone. I write music and lyrics. But I have run into a problem with my lyrics when trying to write country music. I have submitted the song 'Sweet Kentucky Rose' several times to Taxi and it was returned every time. The critiques have all focused on my lyrics. My music and melodies are always praised. I feel like I am getting near misses on this song. I am open to collaboration with a lyricist who knows what Nashville wants lyrically. Here is a link to the song I mentioned above http://www.doctorthor.com/rose.mp3

"Defeatist Pessimists and Rose Colored Glasses Optimists are lonely companions, victims even. Both ideologies imply predestined outcomes, and therefore breed inactivity in its victims. Inaction is the only sure way to lose at anything in life. All positive action guarantees at least a fighting chance." -Brian Austin Whitney
