Rb..uncomfortable in a songwriting context covers a lot of ground..the secret of writing a ballad lyric is to be economical with words but strong on expression and meaning..it is more or less, hitting a bulls eye wordswise, with monotonous regularity..lyric writing is honed by years of experience, and millions of pieces of scrap paper.i was once told by a famous writer many moons ago.."good enough is not near good enough" so in effect "killer" lyrics are what we are all shooting for,and they do not drop out the sky..it is bloody hard work...lyrics give me more sleepless nights than any melody ever could...having listened to your song... melody wise..it isnt too bad at all,so i wish you well in your songwriting, and perhaps a collaborator for your melodies might just be the key to unlock your potential.........Terry...
