Well that sounds original Vikki! I cant remember EVER hearing a sad country song about that. LOL
Cliches are the probable reasons this song was rejected in the first place. I understand the point about the song having too many cliches. Everyone tells you not to use them. Then I turn on my TV and see a Keith Urban video with the line (one step forward, two steps back). If that isn't a cliche, I don't know what is.
