Well poppy it is Dom and the lyric works

Far too much of an intro IMO.....but it does move nicely and it has a catchy chorus

In the end though IMO it is too long

Less than 30 seconds for sn intro is not too long. Especially while highly entertaining.

The la lala part is part of the song, they ain't there to consume time..

Well in defense........... most radio songs are meant to be 3 minutes, so if you use 30 seconds for intro that's 1/6 of the whole song and then another few seconds of la la la la la which sounded like there was supposed to be words there (?)... Voice sounded kewl. I wanted to hear a few more instruments, but that's just me. Oh and I know about the radio thing because I've worked for 3 different radio stations in my life and they don't play around with time slots!

I agree it's a great song, universal, catchy, same thing said in a different way, and by radio standards a pretty cerebral lyric.

I've seen this before...
Lyrically, there's a good rhythm in your verses, and the music fits.

But your "hook" (lalas) get cluttered and over complicated.

Landing on "Looking for love" works!
